It's about that time again, visitors! It's almost time for the National Leadership Conference! We are proud
of all of our chapter members who participated at the Maryland State Competition! Congratulations to Nytiah
Calloway, who competed in Web Site Development and won first place and eligibility to compete in Nationals!
Unfortunately, this year, Ms. Calloway will be the only one in competition at Nationals, but her members will
be right there behind her, cheering her on!
Recently there was news of a flood in Nashville, TN where the National Leadership Conference was planned to be held.
They are working extremely hard on finding a new location and getting reservations done! Keep checking back at
the Official National Website to assure legit information about the Conference! Thank you!

In our chapter, we give homage where homage is due. We are very proud of all our competetors in the regional and
state competitions. During the regional competitions, many students accomplished their goals, by placing at least 6th
in their competition (others achieved first). Congratulations, members! Keep up the good work!
Although, Regional Competitions were a blast, we know we'll try even harder for our State Competitions coming up
on March 25, 2010 - March 27, 2010! Payment was due to Mrs. Norwood-Dobbins by February 28, 2010 ($168 for those
competing and also, $250 for those whom are not).
We will be staying at the Baltimore, Hunt Valley Hotel for 3 days
and 2 nights. Hopefully, we'll meet new people and create new relationships. This conference is an excellent opportunity
for our chapter members to mingle and become a part of the Future Business Network!
